Joss Jones started her first comedy club in 1987 in the mezzanine bar of the Kentish Town Town & Country Club (now called The Forum) and has been running, programming and organising comedy shows and events ever since.  

We have worked with nearly every UK comic since the late 80's, including many who have become household names including Phil Jupitus, Mark Lamarr, Sean Hughes, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Eddie Izzard, Frank Skinner, Jo Brand, Al Murray etc. etc.   And for every comic who found fame and fortune there is an ever growing army of great comics and comedy performers working the live comedy scene today.  

Cosmic Comedy Management was formed in 1994.  We are an Artist Management agency and a Comedy Booking agency.  We currently programme comedy bills for comedy clubs throughout the UK and for a growing number of festivals.

Cosmic Comedy Management has a select rosta of professional comics and between them they have entertained everyone from Jongleurs customers, corporate clients, festival goers, serving troops and discerning arts centre clientelle.

Our expertise includes working with TV production companies, casting companies and film researchers and having owned and operated our own central London licensed venues,  we have a complete overall understanding of how to run a good gig.

Cosmic Comedy also operates The Comedy Workshop Company with Paul B. Edwards providing in-school workshops for KS3 & 4 students specialising in creative writing and drama.

We have had many years experience producing shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as part of the highly acclaimed EdCom Production Company, and have worked with Perrier and If.Comedy award nominees and winners, including in 2008 overall winner David O'Doherty.
